We DID IT last year and we can do it again!
We all pulled together and raised the funding needed to get into our own space and we have been enjoying it for a full year now. As of April 13, 2010 the church celebrated our 2nd Anniversary in existence and on May 1st was our 1 year Anniversary to be in our own space.

Since that time we've gone through some changes, some growing pains as well as bringing a great deal of Light to Southwest Florida and taking our place in the world to keep the energy of acceptance, tolerance and love as a force in motion. Our gratitude and appreciation for the way that everyone really stepped up is overwhelming. Now, it is time to move forward to keep our community going and to transition into the next level of allowing this space to be fully supported by the community and not have the ultimate burden be upon its founders.

THIS IS YOUR COMMUNITY and we want to provide you with the opportunity to make as much of a commitment as you feel you can, so that we can build an even more stable and supported environment for our precious spiritual connections and growth. It is our fervent prayer that you feel that this community provides more of a service to you than you could ever afix a dollar value to. It is our prayer that the spiritual nutrition and the inspiration and support that you can find here will bring you to the absolute height and depth of your full human potential.

We are well on our way to fulfilling our intentions of providing a variety of expanded offerings to the community, more outreach, and social gatherings, as well as a venue to empower and encourage those of you who need a space for classes, workshops and/or healing. Providing a sacred space, a sanctuary and a place to hold the light of our love is a value in and of itself. And we are poised to truly help the community at large with a full roster of meditations, yoga, spiritual education, addiction recovery and healing classes and workshops. We have purposely kept the cost of most of these classes to a bare minimum. This makes for the ability to partake of such profoundly empowering experiences accessible to all.

It is YOUR SUPPORT, which allows us to keep our beloved Church of Spiritual Light going. We are in a position now, due to the quality and volume of spiritual and holistic services that we offer to become a fully recognized community resource by other Southwest Florida non-profit, governmental community service providers for the support we offer for many things such as Addiction recovery, Cancer and Aids Recovery, to Spiritual Healing, Energy Medicine, Preventative Self care, Grief/Bereavement, Relationship, Financial Abundance and Community. We hope that you are pleased and proud to be a part of this community.

Due to some deficits because of income shortfalls during our growth stages it is our goal to raise $5000, by May 31st. We have some outstanding advertising expenses, rent deficiencies, insurance expenses, corporate expenses, unexpected expenses left over from when we opened and some outstanding loans which need to be repaid. Now that we are beginning to more steadily cover our monthly expenses, we would really like to move forward and clear this deficit. Energetically, as a community, this will also create a huge clearing and a rush of forward movement for us all!

We have a couple of different ways for you to approach your level of support. You may, of course, make a one time donation and we also now have the ability for you to continue your support of COSL with a monthly membership donation which will be charged to your credit/debit card at the beginning of each month. This is helpful as many people attend the services irregularly and do not get the opportunity to regularly contribute to the church.

Our Goal is to raise $5000 by May 31st.
If 50 people give $100 we will meet our goal.
If 100 people give $50 we will meet our goal.
If 200 people give $25 we will meet our goal.
