People Shine Project is a SW Florida community service program that promotes and facilitates holistic recovery  and leading-edge self care practices through affordable classes, groups and workshops, as well as private consultations. As proponents for integrative and complimentary medicine, we have formed a unique community alliance which allows us to bring over 50+ classes per month together under one roof.

Our philosophy of healing is focused mainly upon the empowerment of the individual and the re-establishment of right relationship to everything, because everything is connected. We believe that any recovery work, whether it be addiction, cancer or simply spiritual exploration is a recovery of the true self. Recovery of the self is a life-long process rooted in good self-care, which includes the care and feeding of the whole self: body, mind and spirit, as well as the environment in which we live.

We are extremely fortunate to have gathered a group of professional life coaches, spiritual teachers, meditation guides, shamanic practitioners, energy healers (including Theta, sound and crystal healing), hypnotherapists, artists, musicians, yoga and Tai Chi instructors and ceremonialists, as well as business consultants, who are among the most respected in Southwest Florida.

Most of the classes and gatherings we offer are facilitated on a volunteer basis, as a way for these professionals to give back to the community. As a result and through their generosity we are afforded the opportunity to make available to the public through the People Shine Project these extraordinary services and classes at very affordable rates. This allows people to not only participate in integrative medicine practices to promote self directed personal care, but actually provides the means under one roof for them to experience a variety of more holistic lifestyle choices.

In addition to our weekly, bi-weekly and monthly classes, we also provide a unique and dynamic variety of one time special events, workshops and other activities each month. Most of our facilitators are also available for private consultations or one on one sessions.
